    Laura Crow, LISW (she/her)

    Clinician

    Laura graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 2021. Laura is a Licensed Independent Social Worker through the state of Iowa. 

    Laura has worked in the helping profession since 2006, originally in residential settings with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Her graduate training focused on trauma-informed care and practice. Laura is trained in EMDR and has completed Trauma Responsive Yoga (TRY) training through the University of Northern Iowa (more information on TRY can be found here).  Laura utilizes somatic interventions that focus on the mind/body connection and strategies focused on the development of self-compassion, as well as IFS-informed part-work, Polyvagal theory, creative or art therapy interventions, and cognitive behavioral therapy. 

    Laura enjoys working with children and adolescents over the age of 10, as well as adults who may have PTSD and a history of trauma in their lives, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. Laura also has a passion for working with clients who may struggle with body image, weight stigma, and/or sexuality. Laura welcomes clients who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community as well as those who may practice nontraditional relationship structures such as consensual nonmonogamy.
