Laura Crow, LMSW (she/her)

Laura graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 2021. Laura is a Licensed Master Social Worker through the state of Iowa. Laura is also a current member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Laura has worked in the helping profession for the last fifteen years; she has training and experience working with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, as well as people living with bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, autism, borderline personality disorder, and trauma. Her graduate training has focused on trauma-informed care and practice; Laura has completed Trauma Responsive Yoga training through the University of Northern Iowa (more information can be found on TRY here: https://www.traumaresponsiveyoga.com/what-is-trauma-responsive-yoga), and is also trained in EMDR. Laura utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as somatic interventions that focus on the mind / body connection. Laura enjoys working with children and adolescents over the age of 10, as well as adults who may struggle with anxiety, depression, individuals with intellectual disabilities, PTSD and a history of trauma, and those in the LBTQIA+ community.
