Cody is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Iowa. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work in 2024 and also holds Bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Criminal Justice.
Cody brings a unique and diverse background to the therapeutic practice, having previously served as a police officer and psychiatric social worker. These roles provided valuable insights into the stressors and challenges faced by individuals and their communities.
Cody is dedicated to fostering resilience and promoting mental health through a holistic and client-centered approach. He believes that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and he strives to empower his clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and hope. Drawing on past experiences, Cody is particularly adept at helping clients navigate the challenges of demanding work environments, stressful life situations, and family dynamics.
