Natalie graduated from the University of Iowa in 2026 with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Natalie also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (t-LMHC) in the state of Iowa. Natalie is currently a member of the American Counseling Association and Counselors for Social Justice.
Natalie strives to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where individuals can be their authentic selves. Her approach to counseling is rooted in a strong client-counselor relationship as she believes that meaningful change happens when individuals are able to express themselves freely and feel understood. Through the therapy journey, Natalie works with individuals to promote growth, discover inner strengths, and create tools to overcome future challenges. Natalie uses aspects of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused techniques within her practice. When working with children, Natalie utilized play therapy technqiues. Additionally, Natalie enjoys using Sandtray Counseling techniques and creative modalities with individuals of all ages.
Natalie welcomes children ages 8 and up, adolescents, and adults who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal challenges, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
Natalie is under clinical supervision provided by Molly Martin, LISW.
